Description

Cold stick is a cold applied bituminous adhesive manufactured from special grades of bitumen suitably blended with solvents. It is applied as flowing thick liquid consistency suitable for brush application for fixing waterproofing felts and membrane.

Applications

Recommended for sticking roofing felts and membrane on metal, timber roof tiles asbestos including buses, railway carriages etc.

Preparation

All surfaces must be clean, have proper drainage and free of surface dust, rust and any other foreign matter.

Application Methodology

 

• Apply the adhesive material over the cleaned surfaces with a spatula or brush.
• Allow approximately 10 minutes time before laying the felt and stick the felt by pressing uniformly to the surface.
• Clean the tools and hand with kerosene and soap water.
